The Pack's home lies behind a beautiful small waterfall, that hums its lullaby's as they slumber in the caves behind it. The dens are well hidden from plain sight, and have protection from all weather. The roof hangs low, but is just high enough for an average height wolf to stand up.

Champei
Champei stretched her muscles to the max as she ran flat out. The breeze felt like a roaring wind as she ran. Her tongue lolled out and her pants came in quick and short. With her long legs she ran across the ground with great speed for a young wolf. The two year old was happy to be free to roam the pack's land. It felt like years since she had fled what had been her whole life before ending up here, with the Silver Hollows. The joy on her face said what could not be spoken in words. Champei loved it here.
The brown coated female, with the reddish tinge, slackened her pace as she neared their den. She could already hear the waterfall that ran in front of it. Slowing further she trotted down the little worn path down the side of the cliff. The scents of the pack filled her nostrils but only time would tell if any of them were actually there. Champei stopped by the edge of the pool and barked in greeting, her tail wagging quickly back and forth behind her. Still puffing she lowered her head to the cool water to drink.

Jethro
Jethro had laid lazily about in the den this day, He was quite comfortable as to where he'd been laying. There was no breeze and just the right temperature surround him. His silver paws surrounded his darker coloured head, with eyes shut tightly as he listened to the soft trickling of the waterfall over the center of the den. His long grey bushy tail twitched as he heard thundering paws headed towards him, his ears flicking at the sound.
From the scent it was Champei, and she was back from her run. She had left a few hours earlier to go for a bit of a run and wander. Jethro had taken this time to catch up on sleep. Not that he had any catching up to do, It was a favourite pass-time of the wolf's.
A loud bark rang through his ears and caused him to jerk awake. He looked around lazily and rolled to his side before getting to his paws. He just ever so slowly strolled to the edge of the den, where it met the water and the small pond below. He watched as Champei drank from the pond and walked down around the side, eyeing her carefully.
Jethro wasn't the usual type of Alpha. He was, as he liked to think of it, a more fun one. He was probably really, too young to be in charge of a pack, but that didn't matter. He leapt forth, from the side of the den, as Champei was still drinking and hadn't noticed him as of yet. He grabbed her scruff gently in his jaws, tackling her to the ground, using his weight. He made a playful growling sound in doing so.
He soon let go of the Beta and sat back chuckling lightly. "How was your run?" he asked, a light laugh still hanging around in his smooth, cool voice.

Champei
Champei was lapping up the cool clear liquid when she felt something grab her neck. She gasped in surprise, breathing in some water at the same time making her cough. Slightly choking on the water she looked up with fear in her eyes at her attacker. It instantly disappeared once she saw who it was. A smile broadened her face and her tail wagged. The female growled back playfully and gently snapped at his legs.
The silver male she knew as Jethro, stepped off her and sat down. Rolling back over, onto her paws, Champei sat up. "It was refreshing, as always," she replied, still slightly panting. Her tail, though curled around her, thumped lightly on the ground. "Were you sleeping again? You really need to find a better hobby, there are so many other interesting things out there to do rather then spending the day snoring away," she said, a cheeky grin lighting up her amber eyes.

Jethro
"It was refreshing, as always..... Were you sleeping again? You really need to find a better hobby, there are so many other interesting things out there to do rather then spending the day snoring away,"
Jethro grinned sheepishly. "Of course I was sleeping. Its my favourite thing to do!" he grinned. He wasn't afraid or embarrassed to mention his favourite past-time, he liked it better outside when it was dark, which explained why he slept throughout the day mostly.
Walks in the moonlight were much more calming that those in the daylight. The darkness, in his opinion suited him and he enjoyed being out when it was dark. Finding daylight occasionally hard to cope with, but night always seemed so peaceful and quite. It was so misunderstood.
Jethro glanced over to Champei, before flopping down again lazily on his side. "Have you seen Aatto?" he asked as he looked to her, raising his head only slightly off the ground. His voice was smooth as ever.

Gentle paws placed slowly in front of one another pressed down onto the earth. The form it carried, the one of a young wolf, with the features of a female made her way across the cluster of trees that surrounded her. Her earthy shaded fur ruffled with the cool gentle breeze, giving her a small shiver causing her to shake out her coat with a small shake.
Radiently enriched canopy green eyes slowly wandered around, following the slightest sounds that caught her swerving ears. Asyria had wandered to these lands by mistake, though, to her she didn't mind. Though the mesmerizing surroundings gave her the urge to run around & explore, she still had the feeling that there were others like her around, the faint scents of other wolves lingered within the air. That was when she stopped in her tracks, did she unknowingly just cross into another's home?

Champei
Champei shook hear head merely grinning at his 'Of course I was sleeping. Its my favourite thing to do!' She didn't quite get his fascination with sleep, especially since there was plenty of things to explore and do when you were awake. His question caused her ears to perk. "Well no actually I haven't. Isn't he around here?" Her eyes narrowed playfully, "You lost Aatto didn't you?" she barked. "You put him down and forgot where you placed him, I know you did!" she joked.
Letting out a little snort she stood and turned away from him, her nose held high in the air like she was snubbing him, which she wasn't. As she did so the smile on her face dropped and her body stiffened. Her ears flicked around listening for the small noise which had put her on alert. They were not alone. Using her ears and nose she tried to pin point the creature's position.

Aatto
The soft trickling sound of the waterfall entwined with the sounds of bird song wove a delicate harmony that lulled Aatto into an afternoon nap. The soft sunlight that managed to creep through the leaves and light the den area now warmed his back and caused a small smile to alight his face as he slept. Well, that was until the sound of voices interrupted the blissful harmony and caused his eyes to flutter open. He considered dozing off again until his ears perked to his name being said by Champei and Jethro.
With a yawn he got to his paws and stretched, padding to the edge of the drop off to look down on them. He had slept on the upper level of the den, where the creek lay before it dropped into the waterfall and he now watched them with a happy grin on his features. "I'm not lost thank you very much," he called out happily, tail wagging.
From his vantage point he had a whole view of the den area and some of the forest beyond, and as he let his gaze drift across it he spotted some shifting in the trees not too far from where the other two stood. His ears perked to full height and he leaned forward a bit, concerntrating on the spot and trying to decipher if it was a threat or not.

Jethro
"Well no actually I haven't. Isn't he around here?" Her eyes narrowed playfully, "You lost Aatto didn't you? ...You put him down and forgot where you placed him, I know you did!"
Jethro gave a dissatisfied grunt. Where had that pip-squeak gotten to. He got to his paws and shook his coat, giving a light laugh to Champei's joke. His tail curled dominantly over his back as he stretched his fore-legs out in front of him, digits digging into the moss. He turned slightly hearing some rustling in the bushes. The brute's steel coat shimmered in the light.
"I'm not lost thank you very much,"
Jethro swung around quickly as he had just started to concentrate on the sound in the opposite direction that had possibly come from a stranger. "See Champei, I didn't misplace him" he spoke back cheekily and stuck his tongue out at the beta sheepishly. Sometimes he did act quite immature. He gave Aatto a nod and turned around back to face where the sound had come from.
Padding forth slightly he sniffed around a faint scent of a stranger hitting his nose. Originally Jethro had thought that it might of been Aatto up to some games. Slowly moving forth, his ears perked, remaining alert. He lifted his head as he paused, standing dominantly he spoke lowly "Come out, whoever you might be. Come out and you will not be hurt" a low growl tone rumbled through his voice. Just as a warning.

Champei
Champei glanced over at the sound of a familiar voice. She chuckled, not at all embarrassed that Aatto had heard what she had said. It was good to see that the male was safe and nearby. Looking back over to Jethro she stuck out her tongue back at him. Even though he was the leader of the three he sometimes didn't act like it. Champei was glad to have found a good home with those with whom she could be herself and feel safe with. Where no-one knew her past or even cared. They were friends and that was all they needed.
Reminded of the possible threat Champei looked back to where the sound and scent originated. Slowly she followed Jethro, making sure to stay behind the silver male. The hair down her spin bristled as she attempted to make herself look bigger, but it was mostly because she was slightly afraid. She glanced back up at Aatto, asking with her eyes if he could see any better at whether it was dangerous or not.

Asyria stood on firm pillars, one, two... three. There were three from what she could tell. Her eyes flickered back & forth from behind the cluster of trees from where she stood. The low growls they emmitted made her nervous, unsure if she should do as the voice said to come out or not.
The voice had mentioned that she would not be hurt if she came out, was she willing to risk it if they didn't speak the truth. No. Asyria only took a split second before turning tail & heading off in the different direction. Her paws beating down rythmically onto the solid earth, the wind blowing against her fur as she ran.
She always known she was timid when first encountering one wolf, but three? It seemed too much of a risk, especially if she was crossing onto their home lands. Asyria was lost in thought of the dangers that could have come with this encounter, that she had not watched where she was going and a simple misplaced step caused her to tumble down & fall into a large enough thicket that consumed her from sight.

Jethro
Jethro looked to Champei as she came to his side, ready to help him. After the sound of rustling in the bushes, and the sound of paws thundering off, Jethro figured that the wolf was doing a runner. He tilted his head and looked to Champei and Aatto giving them a slight nod before he bounded off into the bushes. His paws falling silent on the ground under him.
He soon caught the visual of the tail of the wolf he was chasing. He followed the stranger through the brush and gave a loud sharp bark "Hey! Hey! Will you stop! Please!" he called as he continued chasing the wolf. He hadnt realised that she had fallen from sight.

Champei
Champei could hardly believe that the wolf just up and fled, leaving even more quickly than it arrived. Her ears perked curiously wondering why it fled like it did. Jethro gave her and Aatto a nod, meaning a go ahead to give chase. Champei smiled. Another reason to run, she was all for it. After Jethro's silver coat speed forward, she followed. Her paws running swiftly across the ground, taking her closer and closer to the fleeing wolf. She was neck and neck with the Alpha.
Suddenly the golden form of the wolf disappeared. Champei slid to a sudden stop in front of the bush. "Are you all right?" she called into the leaves.

Asyria struggled for a moment, the twigs & leaves snagging onto her fur. Muttering under her breath, she tore apart from the thicket, soon falling silent as the sounds of one wolf passed by, he seemed to have missed sight of where she had fallen into.
Once again alerted when she heard the voice of the female who stopped close by she backed up before lunging out of the thicket, jumping over her & landing nearly beside her. These wolves, Asyria was suddenly curious about them. A playful cheshire smile came across her maw, a small one, not enough for the female to have noticed.
Asyria gave her tail a soft flick before sprinting off, wondering how good this female was at keeping up with her. But she didnt wait to find out and ran off in the opposite direction from the two.

Champei
Champei jumped back startled as the wolf leapt over her. Something seemed to flit across the female's face. Something about the feeling she put out. Before she even had enough time to say anything, the golden female had taken off again. "Hey!" What was with her? Champei wondered. Immediately she took off at a sprint after the fleeing figure. She can't keep on like this forever, eventually she'll have to stop and when she does she'd better be ready to talk, she thought to herself, her long thin legs carrying her easily across the ground.
